Re:Action Task Force

As our region looks to recover and rebuild from COVID-19, we need to ensure that a diverse set of voices are included at decision making tables. As part of this effort, CivicAction kicked off our Re:Action Task Force on April 28, 2020.

Problem Addressed

The Re:Action Task Force brings together rising and risen city-builders from across the CivicAction Leadership Foundation’s networks (including DiverseCity Fellows and the Emerging Leaders Network) with a goal of ensuring the greater Toronto region’s response to COVID-19 includes a broad diversity of views, perspectives and experiences (personal, professional and volunteer).

Solutions Implemented

  • The Task Force connected with all levels of government and decision making tables to help inform.
  • Goal of ensuring the greater Toronto region’s response to COVID-19 includes a broad diversity of views, perspectives and experiences.
  • The Task Force will feed into the Mayor of Toronto’s Economic Support and Recovery Task Force and will look to connect with other levels of government and decision making tables.
