CivicAction is proud to introduce the newest group of leaders selected for the 2025 DiverseCity Fellows Program, powered by Purpose Unlimited. The DiverseCity Fellows Program is one of North America’s premier initiatives for developing future-focused, civically engaged leaders. Now in its 14th year, the program has empowered nearly 350 exceptional rising leaders, providing them with the skills, mentorship, and networks necessary to drive meaningful change across their communities.
This year’s cohort is an inspiring group of 28 individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and sectors – from sustainable engineering to tourism and education. Each Fellow brings a unique perspective, passion, and a shared commitment to fostering inclusion, innovation, and progress in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
As a program that offers participants a dynamic, year-long experience designed to enhance their leadership capabilities and expand their influence, the DiverseCity Fellows Program will engage these changemakers in hands-on leadership development, personalized coaching, and a series of dialogues and workshops focused on urban challenges and solutions. In addition, they will build strong cross-sectoral relationships with fellow leaders, mentors, and influential city-builders.
