CivicAction ON Mobilizing Workforce Housing Capital

This roundtable is designed as a candid, facilitated discussion exploring the transformation we need for workforce housing to become an investable, scalable asset class for the benefit of “squeezed-out” workers in the GTHA and beyond.
Objective: Identify the financing, risk-sharing, policy, and delivery conditions needed to create a repeatable investment model for workforce housing and prioritize the most promising opportunities for near-term action
Outcome: A well-informed “CivicAction ON Mobilizing Workforce Housing Capital” brief capturing cross-sector insights, priority opportunities, and promising financing mechanisms to inform partner action and government leaders advancing important policy tools
