Anshika Kushwaha is a leader in workforce development, blending global experience with a passion for systems change. With 10 years of experience, she played a pivotal role in shaping India’s Prime Minister’s Skill Development Program, the world’s largest initiative, which reached 10 million youth, empowering them with technical and employability skills. Now, as the Program Manager at the Toronto Workforce Funder Collaborative, Anshika is working with eight funders to build a more inclusive and equitable workforce development ecosystem in the Greater Toronto Area. Her focus is on tackling systemic barriers, co-designing solutions, and engaging employers to create sustainable job opportunities. Anshika holds a master’s in economics from Warwick University and is the co-author of the UNESCO-UNEVOC guidebook Entrepreneurial Learning for Disadvantaged Youth. With a deep commitment to empowering communities and a rich global perspective, she’s driven to transform workforce and training programs for long-lasting impact in the region.
