Ashleigh Addison (she/they) is the Housing Manager at CivicAction. They are a PMP-certified project manager with over a decade of experience in public policy, social justice, and community development. They have led projects for organizations including the City of Toronto, Georgian College, Seneca College, CMHA Ontario, and Public Health Ontario. Ashleigh’s work in the built environment spans both construction and placemaking, from supporting construction companies through social procurement and operational project management to leading arts-based placemaking initiatives with organizations such as SKETCH Working Arts and Art Starts. Their approach focuses on inclusive, community-informed practices that strengthen equity and sustainability across sectors. Ashleigh brings a systems-focused approach to city-building, informed by lived experience and frontline policy work spanning workforce development, public health, and inclusive economic growth. They are committed to advancing sustainable and inclusive systems and are currently pursuing their LEED Green Associate credential to further support climate-conscious community development.
