Deneille Macas (she/her) is the Program Manager, BoardShift at CivicAction, where she leads the national expansion of the program to enhance board accessibility for equity-deserving leaders across Canada. With a Master of Information from the University of Toronto, she has developed specialized digital programming for TMU, the City of Brampton, and Small Economy Works to support Black and Indigenous creatives, youth, and entrepreneurs. On long weekends, you can find her in Ontario’s backcountry with her family or developing rental affordability and transparency tools for the Toronto Housing Society.
