Eiliyah Deewan (she/her) is the Manager, Grant Writing & Institutional Funding at CivicAction, where she advances funding opportunities and partnerships to support inclusive, high-impact city-building initiatives. She leverages her Master of Public Policy from the Australian National University and PMP certification to translate complex priorities into compelling, fundable programs. Her background spans nonprofit and cross-sector leadership across government, corporate, Indigenous and community partners, complemented by experience in financial services and advisory work with the IFC (World Bank Group), driving initiatives that strengthen partnerships, unlock funding opportunities, and deliver measurable community impact. Outside of work, Eiliyah enjoys exploring new restaurants and parks, and connecting with like-minded folks while mentoring and supporting initiatives that strengthen belonging and visibility for immigrant communities in Toronto.
