Karina Esmail is a passionate advocate for social equity and a transformative leader in public sector innovation, currently serving as a Board Observer with CivicAction. With a Master’s Degree in International Humanitarian Action and extensive experience working with organizations such as the United Nations, various national Red Cross Societies, and Canadian Indigenous communities, Karina has consistently driven impactful change across diverse contexts.​ ​ In her Board Observer role, Karina leverages her expertise in stakeholder engagement, as well as her lived experience as an emerging leader and a person with disabilities to champion inclusive solutions for complex societal challenges.
