Nina is a Speech-Language Pathologist and the Director of Early Words/Premiers mots at the Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation. With over 15 years of experience spanning healthcare, education, and community settings, Nina leads a national health-based literacy program designed to improve children’s literacy as a critical social determinant of health and social advancement. She has secured more than $8 million in funding developing strong partnerships and scaling a national healthcare-based literacy program, collaborating with government partners such as the Government of Nunavut and the Government of Northwest Territories. Nina is known for her expertise in building high-performing teams, collaborating with diverse communities, and advocating for equitable access to education and healthcare.
