Saad is a devoted advocate for decarbonization and energy efficiency. With over 12 years of experience, he specializes in retrofits and the design and commissioning of central heating and cooling plants. His work focuses on creating sustainable solutions that have a lasting positive impact on both the environment and the communities they serve. Saad has been a key player in innovative and historic HVAC decarbonization projects in Canada, including the 100 Yonge St and Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, both of which achieved CAGBC Zero Carbon Certification. Currently leading a decarbonization project team at Continual Energy Inc., Saad also shares his knowledge by teaching courses on Building Automation Systems and Heat Pumps. A mentor for aspiring engineers, he is passionate about empowering the next generation of industry leaders.
