Sylvia is a Communications Officer with the City of Hamilton. She has played a key role in diverse projects including the communication and engagement strategy for Hamilton’s redesigned transit network consultation – a once-in-a-generation opportunity to improve Hamilton’s transit network and the life of its residents. With a background in both the public and not-for-profit sectors, she uses strategic communication and stakeholder engagement to drive positive community impact. Sylvia’s passion for transportation infrastructure has been a consistent theme throughout her career, from her work with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority to her contributions at the City oh Hamilton. She believes that strong transportation systems are central to effective city-building, playing a vital role in enhancing the region’s economic vitality and well-being.
