Yasmine Mohamed (she/her) is the Director, Activation at CivicAction, where she leads the strategic design and delivery of award-winning programs and initiatives that advance inclusive leadership and civic engagement across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). Yasmine drives impact by building and stewarding cross-sector partnerships and translating complex social challenges into programs that strengthen participation and belonging, particularly for equity-denied communities. Prior to joining CivicAction, Yasmine led program growth and innovation at the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, where she launched and scaled nationally recognized programs that expanded equitable access to cultural institutions and public spaces for tens of thousands of newcomers to Canada each year. Her work is grounded in a deep believe that inclusion and belonging are at the core of thriving communities. Outside of work, Yasmine enjoys discovering local cultural spaces, spending time outdoors, and staying curious about the people and places that shape vibrant cities.
