Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a new CivicAction program, which will connect young people to meaningful volunteer placements within organizations addressing critical societal issues, such as housing, affordability, and equitable prosperity.

Reporting to the Volunteer Manager, the Program Coordinator will provide support related to the creation and execution of all operational administration of a new volunteer program, including reporting to program funders and attracting and retaining youth volunteers.

Volunteer Engagement Coordinator

The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a new CivicAction program, which will connect young people to meaningful volunteer placements within organizations addressing critical urban issues, such as housing, affordability, and equitable prosperity.

Reporting to the Volunteer Manager, the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator will conduct program activities relating to the recruitment, training, placement, and retention of participants (volunteers). Core activities will include providing 1:1 support to volunteers, including individualized coaching and check-ins, onsite visits to partner placements, extensive support throughout volunteer recruitment and selection, as well as co-creation of volunteer placements, and retention of volunteers. They will also assist with program logistics and coordination to ensure smooth operations and a positive volunteer experience.
